Facial blushing, like Hyperhidrosis, is also one kind of sympathetic disorders. Rosacea (red spots) is final result of Facial blushing due to neovascularization (new growth of blood vessels) of face. Facial skin gradually becomes red and painful in sun. People with facial blushing usually displays withdrawal behavior in public. Social life and learning are disturbed. Social Phobia may be the long term results of facial blushing. The method to treat facial blushing is very similar to Hyperhidrosis, but different from different ganglions clamped or cut. Around 17.0% of facial blushing have severe reflex sweating after sympathetic surgery, though the main problem is facial blushing only. Poor surgical results are found on 15.0% of patients over 40 years old, but excellent results are anticipated by adjuvant therapy with medicines, for example, clonidine. Better surgical results are encountered on sweating type of Facial Blushing on Europian study.
